"Oblivion" - House of Fools, music video

So earlier this year, friends/fellow photographers Andy, Natalie, and I produced, directed, filmed, and edited a music video for an awesome band called House of Fools.

It premiered today on AOL's music website, www.spinner.com, as the Video of the Day.

Check it out!

Spring 2012: Internship with Anna Wolf

A couple days ago, I landed my Spring 2012 internship!
YAY!

I will be moving to New York City for three months to work with the amazingly talented commercial photographer Anna Wolf!  Her beautiful work has landed her with quite the impressive client list, which ranges from Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters to Target and Toyota.  I feel so unbelievably lucky to have the opportunity to study under Ms. Wolf so stay tuned for updates!

Here are a few of my favorite images from her:

Spring 2012: Self Promo #2

For my second self-promo of the semester, I wanted to do a fashion shoot.  I've had this concept in mind for quite some time and finally set it in motion!  I was going for a warm, sunlit, serious fashion look and I hope I achieved it!
Victoria Cox was not only my beautiful model but also the very talented dress designer.  I think she did an amazing job on both aspects and I really appreciate all the effort put forth to make this shoot happen!

Self Promo #1: Perfume Advertisement

For my first self promo shot, I decided to do a perfume ad for Britney Spears' Curious.  I was going for a nighttime, magical, fairytale type feel and hopefully I achieved it!

Model: Caroline Simmons
Shot with: Nikon D90, 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6
Lighting: One Nikon SB-900 speedlight camera left shot through umbrella

This shot was a composite; one photo of Caroline's torso and then two other photos make up the image of the perfume bottle.

These five photos were the ones I submitted to my design class for portfolio. All of them were shot with my medium format Zenza Bronica SQ-A on 120 format Kodak TMAX 100 ISO black & white film.
